About ICPSA 2026

The 1st International Conference on Public Sector Accounting 2026 (ICPSA 2026) is an inaugural international conference organised by the National Accounting Institute (IPN), Accountant Generalโ€™s Department of Malaysia (JANM), in strategic collaboration with Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM).

Held virtually on 27โ€“28 October 2026, ICPSA 2026 provides a dynamic international platform for academics, researchers, policymakers, public sector professionals, practitioners and industry experts to exchange knowledge, share research and explore emerging developments shaping the future of public sector accounting and finance.

The conference brings together diverse perspectives on key areas including public sector accounting, governance and accountability, sustainability and ESG, digitalisation and artificial intelligence, accrual accounting, Islamic accounting standards, financial management and organisational transformation.

More than a conference, ICPSA 2026 is a platform for knowledge exchange, professional development, collaboration and meaningful networking across the public sector, academia and industry. It aims to foster new insights, strengthen professional practices and inspire innovative approaches towards a more transparent, accountable, sustainable and future-ready public sector.

Join us as we connect knowledge, people and ideas to shape the future of public sector accounting.
